- How do I connect to another flight in Terminal 1/ Terminal 2/Terminal 3 and the BT?
- You are required to clear arrival immigration and claim your baggage at the BT before checking-in for your next flight in T1/T2/T3 or the BT. Please have the necessary travel documents and visa to clear arrival immigration into Singapore.
- If you are connecting to another flight in T1/T2/T3, you are advised to set aside a minimum of 1.5 hours to cater for clearance of arrival processes and traveling time between the BT and T1/T2/T3, in addition to time required for completing the departure processes at T1/T2/T3.
- You may reach T2 using the free BT Shuttle Bus which connects BT and T2. If your flight is in T1/T3, you may then take the Skytrain service from T2 to T1/T3.
- How do I travel between Terminal 1/ Terminal 2/Terminal 3 and the BT?
- You can make use of the free shuttle bus service available at Changi Airport Terminal 2. The pick-up/drop-off point at Terminal 2 is at the T2 Basement Bus Bay (near bus 36) and the pick-up/drop-off at the BT is between the Departure Hall and the Arrival Greeters' Hall. If you are in T1/T3, you may first take the Skytrain service to T2 for the free BT shuttle bus service. The bus ride between Terminal 2 to BT takes approximately 5 to 10 mins.

- How long before my flight do I have to check-in?
- The recommended check-in time for travelers is at least 2 hours prior to departure time.
- How much do I have to pay if I exceed the maximum check-in baggage requirement?
- Excess baggage rates will differ with the airline and the destination you are traveling to. Please contact your airline directly for the rates.
- What is the airport tax applicable to the BT?
- The airport tax for flights departing from BT is currently S$15 versus S$28 for main terminals.
- Besides the airport tax, are there any other charges that travellers need to pay for at the BT?
- There will be no other charges for travellers. Only $15 airport tax is collected for flights departing from the BT.
- My connecting flight out of BT is on the next day afternoon. What can I do during the meantime?
- You could enjoy the facilities and F&B outlets available at the public area. Alternatively, you could take the free Shuttle Bus Service to T2 to enjoy the facilites at other terminals. To catch a nap, you may like to use the pay-per-use Premium Plaza Lounge or stay in the airport hotel at Terminal 3.
- Do I have to clear immigration upon arrival at Singapore although I will be connecting to another flight at BT? What are the documents required?
- Passengers have to clear immigration upon arrival in Singapore and check in their baggage for the next flight. Please ensure that you have the necessary documents (e.g VISA) to enter Singapore.
