How do I connect to another flight in Terminal 1/ Terminal 2/Terminal 3 and the BT?

You are required to clear arrival immigration and claim your baggage at the BT before checking-in for your next flight in T1/T2/T3 or the BT. Please have the necessary travel documents and visa to clear arrival immigration into Singapore.

If you are connecting to another flight in T1/T2/T3, you are advised to set aside a minimum of 1.5 hour to cater for clearance of arrival processes and traveling time between the BT and T1/T2/T3, in addition to time required for completing the departure processes at T1/T2/T3.

You may reach T2 using the free BT Shuttle Bus which connects BT and T2. If your flight is in T1/T3, you may then take the Skytrain service from T2 to T1/T3.

How do I travel between Terminal 1/ Terminal 2/Terminal 3 and the BT?

You can make use of the free shuttle bus service available at Changi Airport Terminal 2. The pick-up/drop-off point at Terminal 2 will be at the T2 Basement Bus Bay (near bus 36) and the pick-up/drop-off at the BT will be the BT shuttle bus stop. If you are in T1/T3, you may first take the Skytrain service to T2 for the free BT shuttle bus service.

The bus ride between Terminal 2 to BT takes approximately 5 to 10 mins.

What is the airport tax applicable to the BT?

At the BT, we offer international Passenger Service Charges (PSC, or airport tax) of S$7. The PSC in Terminals 1, 2 and 3 is S$15.

The Passenger Security Service Charge (PSSC) of S$6 remains the same as main terminals because security measures at the BT would be equally stringent and on par with those at Changi’s T1, T2 and T3.

Besides the airport tax, are there any other charges that travellers need to pay for at the BT?

There will be no other charges for travellers. Only the S$13 airport tax (i.e. the S$7 PSC and S$6 PSSC ) from departing travellers is collected. This is already included in the cost of the air ticket.
